For pretty much as long as HorrorBuzz has been in existence, we have praised the work of JFI Productions. From their incredible work year after year with CREEP LOS ANGELES to their amazingly dysfunctional family, THE WILLOWS, JFI Productions continues to top themselves with everything they do.

With THE WILLOWS, they created a multi-path, incredibly layered story; one that left guests wanting to come back again and again to experience it all. The show consistently sold out, and with no new performances dates on the horizon, we thought that the family had closed their doors forever.

Until now.

JFI Productions has teamed up with Amaze VR to create an interactive VR feature film inspired by the critically-acclaimed immersive theatre production. And the best part is, you don’t have to wait long for it. It’s available NOW on Oculus Go and SamsungGear VR.

The experience will find viewers being drawn into haunting scenes and bizarre encounters , deciding their own journey at multiple decision points with four possible endings. HOW COOL IS THAT?!

The experience runs approximately 56 minutes if you play it straight through, and 141 minutes of total runtime with all interactive options. Think of it like “choose your own adventure” but with the Willows family.

Serving as a faithful adaptation of the show, it incorporates the best moments from all 185 sold-out performances. And best of all, the first episode is available for FREE.

Amaze VR was one of the most popular VR apps (by downloads) in 2017, and it is currently positioning itself as the marketplace for premium interactive VR experiences. In addition to The Willows, the company also plans to release Stuck In The Middle (a romantic comedy), The Pact (horror), and Dead Man Walker (zombie survival story) for viewers to enjoy. After the initial launch, Amaze plans on releasing two premium interactive experiences a month. That sounds pretty awesome, too.

So, in the off-chance you never got to see the show (whether because you don’t live in SoCal or never got to snag a ticket), now is your chance. Just download the Amaze VR app, and you’re good to go.

Go! See it now! And tell Mrs. Willows that HorrorBuzz send you.
