I don’t know about you, but I enjoyed this prequel to the Exorcist. This prequel follows the earlier times of father Merrin. The priest has taken a sabbatical from the Church, and ends up excavating an ancient church and an ancient evil. This is the second outing for actor, Stellan John Skarsgård, as father Merrin. He also starred in, Exorcist: The Beginning, just the year before.

People giving birth to dinosaurs. No, really. This flick is so all over the place, I can’t even.

The Eunice Corporation is breeding a strain of extra large and fertile chickens by splicing their DNA with reptiles. Dr. Jane Tiptree is also impregnating several of the chickens with Dino DNA, this resulting in the birth of a Deinonychus. Tiptree is also creating a virus which causes women to conceive baby dinosaurs, in order to wipe out humanity and thus allow dinosaurs to reclaim the Earth. No, really.

I guess I should get around to watching this remake… Horrible reviews from friends, and critics kept me away, but I love me some Sam Rockwell. I just don’t know how I feel about the absence of the iconic Tangina Barrons character.
