You see the love of your life across the bar, but she has no idea you exist. You need to get her attention “in a big way.” What do you do? You invest your money in getting her attention by hiring people to kidnap her.
Right, because you can only come out of this one way: in cuffs or in love.

Orion Pictures presents Get the Girl coming out January 27th. The film is directed by Eric England (Contracted, Madison Country) and starring Justin Dobies (Dear White People, We Love You), Elizabeth Whitson (“Awkward”, “Pretty Little Liars”), Noah Segan (Looper, “Breaking Bad”, Adi Shankar (Dredd, The Grey), and Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween II, The Runaways). The film is not yet rated.

In Get the Girl, a wealthy young man is conned into staging a fake kidnapping in order to be a hero and win the affection of a girl he’s madly in love with. But when one of the hired kidnappers is accidentally killed during the charade, he’s forced to actually save her life while not revealing that it’s been a ruse all along.

England uses bright neon colors to outline the craziness and uncomfortable the situation of a first love can be and the lengths someone will go to, to trap that love. The performances are comedic yet thrilling. Who will get the girl or will it be the other way around?
