We just saw a trailer for a newish film that looks about 10 million shades of tubular. This is a little indie film gem that in time got lost, but is finally coming to light. It took many years to complete this super cool project; finally now on Oct 11 of 2016 just in time for the Halloween festivities this epic adventure will be released on many VOD- MOD and various North American platforms. Admittedly they are shooting for a broad appeal while targeting a niche audience. You’ve got classic Noir, vampires, 80’s style. If you are down with all of that, well, you will love this unique detective/vampire cult flick that has been fermenting and aging in the vaults since the day it was shot.
Shot in 1984, Dark Seduction was lost for decades before being rediscovered and lovingly completed by the film’s star and director, Greg Travis. In the years since the film’s initial production, Travis has gone on to cult acclaim, appearing in SHOWGIRLS, STARSHIP TROOPERS, and WATCHMEN! A film borne from heavy amounts of blood, sweat, and some tears, Travis is thrilled to finally be releasing the film this year on October 11th on VOD.
The production was shot in Los Angeles, CA in the summer of 1984 and is an adventure full of danger, seduction, bloodsucking and a ticking clock. This detective must solve his case and find two exotic beautiful vampires, while fighting back becoming a vampire himself?
