Can you feel it in the air? That cold breeze that signals the start of the Halloween season? Me neither, because I live in California where it’s 100 degrees at the end of September. Nonetheless, Halloween season is upon us and SyFy’s got you covered with their “31 Days of Halloween”, which is set to feature newly-aired and original content throughout the month. The first entry is the SyFy-original movie, The Crooked Man.

The Crooked Man is the story of 12-year old Olivia, who is blamed for the mysterious death of her friend after singing a song created by the reclusive mastermind Milo, which also happens to release a demonic figure known as “The Crooked Man”. After returning to her home after 6 years, Olivia discovers that there have been a string of mysterious murders, leading her to believe that “The Crooked Man” is still roaming the earth. Having released this evil with her song, Olivia must find a way to return this creature from whence it came.

The Crooked Man stars Michael Jai White (Spawn), Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Dina Meyer (Starship Troopers) and will be premiering on SyFy on October 1st at 9PM Eastern/6PM Pacific.
