TheMagiciansS1_PosterArtIf you like seeing a bunch of college students getting into trouble with magic then this is the series for you. Syfy has announced the Blu-ray and DVD release date to Lev Grossman’s best selling fantasy trilogy The Magicians, Season One. The DVD, Blu-ray, and digital copy will be available July 19th, so save the date to get your copy.

The Magician’s follows Quentin Coldwater, who still believes in magic, as he attends Brakebills University for Magical Pedogogy, a secret university for brilliant magicians. While attending the university Quentin discovers that his belief in magic was not fiction but was very much fact. Follow Quentin through his adventure at Brakesbills University as he finds out more about magic.

Here’s the juicy part, the Blu-ray Deluxe edition of The Magicians comes with some amazing extras and it comes uncensored, not like the  televised version. Who doesn’t love uncensored, right? Along with uncensored you get a Gag Reel, where you get a lot of funny stuff, deleted scenes, things that did not make it to the televised version, and The World of “The Magicians”, because taking a look into the world of The Magicians just sounds awesome. Wish I could be a magician.

The Blu-Ray Combo Pack comes with a Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD with UltraViolet.

  • Blu-Ray lets you experience the series in HD on your HDTV, and exclusive extras and quality theatre surround sound.
  • DVD lets you play your series at home, in the car, or anywhere a DVD can be played.
  • Digital HD with UltraViolet allows you to stream from your mobile devices such as: phone, tablets, or computer. You can watch it from your bus ride to school or your commute on the train/subway.
