Buffalo 8, a leading entertainment company, is set to kick off the new year with a bang as they release the North American Video On Demand (VOD) version of First Time Caller. This eagerly anticipated film, directed by J.D. Brynn and Abe Goldfarb, is a captivating feature adaptation of the fan-favorite podcast “The Earth Moves” by Gideon Media.

Brent Ziff, portrayed by Goldfarb, is an internet shock-jock at the height of his career. However, his world takes an unexpected turn on a fateful night when a dedicated listener delivers a grave message, plunging Brent into uncharted territory.

Adapted by Mac Rogers, the original podcast’s scriptwriter, First Time Caller has earned critical acclaim and recognition at prestigious film festivals. The film’s journey began with a world premiere at the Seattle Film Festival, where it clinched the Grand Jury Prize, along with accolades for Best Actor (Goldfarb) and Best Director (Goldfarb and Brynn).
