Brazil’s Fantaspoa Fantastic Film Festival has finally announced the full lineup for is fast approaching sixteenth edition. Due to the unique circumstances of COVID-19, Fantaspoa has made the festival available to Brazilian audiences free of charge. That’s right… FREE OF CHARGE! This unique presentation comes from a partnership with Darkflix, a Brazilian based video streaming service focused on quality horror productions.

Fantaspoa’s sixteenth year will consist of 47 feature films from 29 different countries. In addition to features, 89 films from 25 countries will also be included. In total, more than 130 films from 40 countries will be run, creating an atmosphere of inclusion and featuring some of the best genre films planet Earth has to offer.

The viewing process for Fantaspoa is unique this year. The full lineup will be available for free on Darkflix from July 24 to August 2, 2020. Each title has a max viewing cap of 5,000 views so make sure you plan your schedule around your top films. Even though the festival is online, all films are geo-blocked to Brazil, but festival fans fear not. The festival’s live streams (ex. talent and filmmaker Q&As, celebrity master classes, lectures, and more) will be made available for free to the world. So there is plenty to do and see during Fantasopa no matter where you call home!
