February is, pretty much, an amazing month for horror history.  House of the Dead, the ridiculously awful film by Uwe Boll, was released today way back in 2003. Of course that isn’t the only bit of horror significance.  Did you know that the brilliant Don Coscarelli , writer director of Phantasm, was also born this week?  Its true. We can also thank February for the brilliant entries such as Ingmar Bergman’s The Hour of the Wolf,  and Dario Argento’s The Bird with the Crystal Plumage. Such a rich feast of fright to be thought about in February.
