We just received the trailer for a new action-horror pic, Dead By Dawn. From director Sean Cain, and co-starring Drew Lindsey Mitchell, Kelcey Watson, Bo Burroughs, Timothy Muskatell, Bobby Slaski, Detra Hicks, and Skylar Dominique, Dead by Dawn actually has an interesting premise. A man on the brink of suicide, suddenly given a reason to live in protecting a victim of violence. Check out the trailer below, and TRIGGER WARNING: There is a brief depiction of a suicidal act.

Synopsis: A suicidal man in a remote cabin is suddenly faced with protecting a kidnapped woman from three killers and their sadistic games. Unable to contact the outside world and with night falling, he falls backs on creating traps to prevent the criminals from gaining entry. It’s a fight to the death where only the strongest will survive until dawn.

From the trailer, I would say we might have something pretty interesting to watch here. It’s a fascinating premise with a suicide derailed in order to save a life. Of course, the script will need to be en point as a pressure cooker movie like this requires clever writing to keep things moving along.
