Coming soon to VOD and Blu-Ray from DREAD is the directorial debut of filmmaker John-Paul Panelli, THEY’RE INSIDE.

The film is produced by Derek Dennis Herbert and Andrew Barcello, the team behind the acclaimed documentary To Hell And Back: The Kane Hodder Story. THEY’RE INSIDE stars Karli Hall (Haunt), Amanda Kathleen Ward (Fate), Jake Ferree (“True Detective”), Sascha Ghafoor (The Wedding Invitation), Chelsea D. Miller (Spaceman) with Alex Rinehart (The Black Room) and Matthew Peschio delivering chilling performances as the killers.

When two sisters go to an isolated cabin in the woods to film a passion project, family secrets start to get in the way… as do masked strangers filming a passion project of their own.

My feelings on found footage films are well known on this site. Why another one is being made, I have no idea. Critics have described the film as Funny Games meets The Strangers, two home invasion films that I’m a fan of, but I’m hoping that They’re Inside isn’t as derivative as it seems it is going to be. The Human Centipede-esque poster isn’t exactly a turn-on, either.

They’re Inside will be available July 16th, 2019 on VOD and Blu-Ray.

About the Author

From humble beginnings as a bisexual art kid who drank more coffee than a 40-year-old author, Remy now holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and is a proud member of the HorrorBuzz team (and still a bisexual art kid who drinks too much coffee). They were first introduced to the world of horror and camp when their grandma showed them The Rocky Horror Picture Show at age 5, and never looked back. When they're not writing cartoons or working on movies, one can spot them in various clubs around Los Angeles performing very, very self-deprecating standup comedy. Howdy ho!
