Music lovers innocently enjoying Coachella recently may have gotten a bit of a scare. To herald the arrival of The Strangers: Chapter 1 which will arrive in theaters nationwide on May 17, 2024, the titular villains were spotted skulking around the otherwise festive event.

Directed by Renny Harlin and penned by the talented duo Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, the film revisits the fear-inducing concept created by Bryan Bertino in the original “The Strangers.” This new installment takes us to a creepy small town where a young couple’s car trouble leads them to a night of terror in a secluded cabin. As they face three merciless masked assailants, the couple’s fight for survival becomes a horrifying ordeal.
