Our friends at Screambox have created two new virtual shelves to get horror fans’ blood boiling during the hottest months of the year. I know what you are thinking; Horror during the summer? FEH! Not so. I mean, what would horror be without the summertime scares of Camp Crystal Lake or Amity Island? See?
While summer is often considered a slow season for gore, Screambox has packaged together some of the fright site’s most popular content to both lampoon and celebrate two of the season’s most popular events.
Goregasm
Sexing up the summer is National Orgasm Week, which launches on July 31 with National Orgasm Day. In honor of “The Big O” — and saluting one of the most popular tropes in horror movies — Screambox presents Goregasm . This collection includes some of the sexiest, craziest, and goriest toe-curling horror films ever assembled. From the sexploitation slasher classic Evil Come, Evil Go to the more modern Sorority Party Massacre , visitors will be reminded to stay pure and true… if they want to survive the night. Shark Week
Every summer, shark fever sweeps the nation. In honor of those cold-blooded killers, Screambox is hosting its own Shark Week , compiling a collection of some of the scariest, bloodiest, and rarest deepwater dangers. These aren’t the typical Jaws titles that mainstream media always talks about during this season, but unique morsels that fans will enjoy sinking their teeth into, such as The Reef, Psycho Shark, and, of course, the aptly named Shark Week.
