In previously released trailers, it is mentioned that they don’t come back the same, but in this case, it does. Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for the upcoming supernatural horror film PET SEMATARY.

Synopsis: Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.

Pet Sematary (2019) - Final Trailer - Paramount Pictures

The trailer shows little new material compared to the one released a month ago. It can be a strategy to keep curiosity active and encourage the audience to attend opening day; nobody likes to get all the details from the beginning. However, it is a good preview for what the viewer can expect to see in this second adaptation of Stephen King’s classic novel. The scenes shown in short promise to bring a roller coaster of emotions and unexpected jump scares that may leave the audience satisfied or very scared to come back for a second round.

PET SEMATARY is in theaters Thursday.

His love for horror films came when his parents accidentally took him to watch Scream, at the age of 6, thinking that it was a safe-choice because it starred “that girl from Friends”. At 12, he experienced the first of many paranormal events in his life.
