MEAN DREAMS written by Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, directed by Nathan Morlando and starring Bill Paxton, Colm Feore, Sophie Nélisse, and Josh Wiggins will be coming to select theaters and VOD March 17. The film is rated R.

MEAN DREAMS follows Jonas, brave local farm boy, and Casey, the new girl in town, as they begin a journey that will change their lives. As love slowly befalls the fifteen-year-olds, Jonas discovers Casey’s abusive home situation and the new level it has reached.

Jonas takes the initiative to steal a bag of money from Casey’s corrupt cop father (Bill Paxton) to save Casey from his clutches. As they run for their lives from Casey’s father, the teens learn the truth of what it will take to survive. Jonas and Casey face a life-altering decision at the end of their journey. A heart-pounding coming-of-age thriller, MEAN DREAMS brings together the desperation of life on the run and the beauty and wonder of first love.
