If you love Ice-T and vampire’s this movie is for you. Speakeasy Pictures and Impulse-FX announced Bloodrunners starring Ice-T will be available to own on Blu-ray/DVD and Digital HD March 7th. The Blu-ray/DVD will be available in a combo pack and includes 1080p video, 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound, and bonus features.
Bloodrunners will also be available to rent and own globally on iTunes and Steam. US and Canada will be able to rent or own on iTunes, Steam, Google Play, Xbox, Playstation as well as Comcast, Dish, Rogers and Shaw.
Bloodrunner is an action-filled crime drama set in the time of the prohibition and features the immortal vampires. Michael McFadden (The Networker) is a cop that looks the other way when he sees the movement of illegal alcohol but when Chestfield, the latest speakeasy, opens McFadden must stop their thirst for blood.
The world is corrupt and everyone is making a fortune in 1933 during the prohibition. In this world, no one is safe from corruption and cop Jack Malone (McFadden) is no exception. While he makes his runs of collecting money from the newest speakeasy, Malone finds a clan of bloodthirsty vampires. When bodies and innocent people are terrorized Malone must put aside his need for money and be a serving officer.
The Blu-ray/DVD (SRP) 14.99 and iTunes releases of Bloodrunners will include a feature-length commentary with director Dan Lantz, deleted, extended scenes, a gag reel, and trailers.
