Monster Movie Media and Octacle have announced that they’re launching a GoFundMe campaign for their documentary focused on Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Foolish Mortals. Director James H. Carter II looks to not only put the spotlight on the attraction itself, but the outpouring of love and creative expression from the legions of diehard fans that have grown to love the attraction and make it part of their lives over the last 55 years.

The film has attracted the attention of some big name fans, and some of the people scheduled to appear in the film include Disney legend Rolly Crump, artist Topher Adam, former Imagineer Jason Surrell, Nora See, Tristan Risk, Robert Kurtzman, Dutch Bihary, Sandie Schnieder, Imagineer Terri Hardin, Axelle Carolyn, Mike Mendez, Spooky Dan Walker, Lance Henriksen, and many more! With the help of community funding, the filmmakers have been able to travel throughout the country to interview these visionaries about the role The Haunted Mansion has played in shaping their lives, but travel costs are expensive, and they’re looking to raise some additional funds to finish their work and create something that pays proper respect to such an influential California hot spot.
