Electric Entertainment has acquired all media rights for the U.S. and Canada for the self-aware horror comedy FEAR, INC., it was announced today by Dean Devlin, President and CEO of the company. The film, which was a hit with audiences when it world premiered in the Midnight Section at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, is set for a digital release across all VOD platforms on October 21st. The deal was brokered by Electric Entertainment’s Head of Domestic Distribution, Zac Reeder and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Gonzalez and by CAA and Amasia Entertainment on behalf of the filmmakers.

In the film, a horror junkie (Neff) and his friends hire a company that brings their customer’s greatest fears to life.

FEAR, INC. stars Lucas Neff, Caitlin Stasey, Chris Marquette, Stephanie Drake, Abigail Breslin and Mark Moses.

The film was directed by Vincent Masciale and written by Luke Barnett, and was produced by Barnett and Masciale for Lone Suspect, and by Natalie Rose Masciale and Heather Kasprzak. Executive producing is Bradley Gallo, Michael Helfant, Tanner Thomasan, Giles Daoust, John Suits, Gabriel Cowan, Maxxe Sternbaum, Zack Imbrogno and Frank Masciale.
