Between the Trees - Trailer
From director Brad Douglas (Besetment), and starring Greg James (‘’Grimm’’), Michael Draper (‘’Z Nation’’) and Jonny Lee (‘’Hawaii Five-0’’), Between The Trees seems like a cross between the Hangover and the Hill Have Eyes, which in theory sounds way interesting, but after watching the trailer I can’t really make heads or tails about the quality of acting, editing, or cinematography that this movie will offer. The editing of the trailer seems rough, which worries me about the focus and continuity of the end product, and at times the acting seems like it might be somewhere near a student-film. However I will reserve judgment post-viewing the movie, as I can tell each character is distinct and thought out, there does seem to be some interesting if not quirky shots, and I do love a good cabin in the woods movie to remind myself to not get into camping. The superhuman lumberjack stalking the friendly quartet looks pretty scary and imposing – I just hope that I will be laughing (maniacally) with this film, and not at it.

Between the Trees will be available on Demand and digital HD March 5, 2019 and via DVD June 11, 2019.
