Hopefully the first of many horror shorts from creative magazine/short film company Alt-Horror, Rideshare is the story of how our willingness to expose our lives and our bodies to the mercy of strangers can have devastating consequences. A woman enters an Uber-esque rideshare vehicle when she starts to realize her driver knows who she is, and has been stalking her social media accounts for some time. What follows is a tense and claustrophobic experience as this woman is trapped and at the whim of her obsessed admirer. The short is definitely worth your 4 minutes, and shows a lot of promise for this new creative team.
