So far the news coming out of Halloween Horror Nights has been amazing for 2018. The creative masterminds in Orlando are given a bit more creative freedom and with that, they have garnered a reputation of unparalleled creativity. Today, Universal Orlando Resort revealed a brand new original concept Haunted House/maze for 2018. Slaughter Sinema is the next all-new original content haunted house coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2018.

From the twisted minds of Universal Orlando’s Entertainment team, Slaughter Sinema will transport guests to a decrepit drive-in movie theater. As the lights dim and the features begin, guests will jump through the screens of original storylines filled with monsters and nightmares from the 1980s. They will come face-to-face with vicious creatures with a deadly bite in Midnight Snacks 2: The House Swarming, bloodthirsty alien cannibals on the hunt for fresh meat in Amazon Cannibals from Planet Hell and more.

So far this year the two original houses, Slaughter Sinema and Dead Exposure Patient Zero are playing heavy on nostalgia. Add to that the retro vibe of Stranger things, and you have the line up for a very 80’s HHN so far. Which, in our humble opinion, is radical.
