The creepiness continues to roll in for the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018, as the paranormal show The Witnessing is the latest to come across our desk.

According to their press release, The Witnessing is a chilling multi-sensory exploration into a shocking paranormal investigation (already, I am 100% on board for this). Case file photographs, footage, artifacts, and recordings bring this terrifying ordeal to life as writer Sterling Powers explores the intersection between science, history, superstition and tribalism through a documented paranormal experience.

The show will utilize audience inclusion together with elaborate sound design and other sensatory input to trigger the most basic human instincts in a responsive multi-sensory storytelling experience.

As a kid, I would often spend countless hours going over the documents of famous paranormal cases, just wishing that something strange would happen to me in those moments. This show looks like my chance for that to finally come true!

The show comes from the company The Unmarked Door, and is directed by Lola Kelly (Hall & Mirror’s YOU), with composer Rolfe Kent (Dexter, Sideways, Up in the Air).

This 18+ show is not for the faint of heart, and will last about 45 minutes.

It will be at Thymele Arts, one of our favorite venues, and have show dates of 5/31 8:40pm, 6/15 10:40pm, 6/16 10:10pm, 6/21&22 9:40pm, 6/23 8:40pm

Tickets are $15 and go on sale May 1, 2018 at hff18.org/5083
