Official Trailer Released for CARNIVAL ROW

Amazon Prime Video has released a new full-length trailer that gives a first glimpse at season one of CARNIVAL ROW.

The series is set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man. This growing population struggles to coexist with humans — forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Orlando Bloom), and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society. Vignette harbors a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet: a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.

Amazon Prime Video has clearly stepped up its game in the wake of the competition amongst streaming platforms: the trailer is visually stunning and features an all-star cast. (Though the pop music during the second half of the trailer was unnecessary given the setting.)

CARNIVAL ROW premieres August 30th, 2019 on Amazon Prime Video.
