What’s going my HorrorBuzz fam? I’ve got an interesting question for you all. What comes to mind when you think of Cleveland? Is it the Cleveland Browns? Maybe it’s a corned beef sandwich from Slyman’s, and a beer from Great Lakes Brewing Company.
Well, I’ll tell you what should come to mind. Infact, it’s more like WHO should come to mind. If the name, Frank Ippolito, sounds familiar, it’s because he starred in seasons 1 and 5 of Face-Off. Ring a bell? With me, I’m better with faces, than I am names. So it didn’t dawn on me that it was Frank as I made my way across some of his pictures on the gram. Of course, his work speaks for itself. I was mad impressed. Then, once I saw his face, it dawned on me. Hey, I routed for that guy! You know, on that T.V. show! You know! The one with this guy in it!
This Cleveland, Ohio native specializes in characters, sculpting, prosthetics, painting and more. Since appearing on the show, Frank Ippolito has worked on such movies as The Chronicles of Riddick, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, and many others. Pretty freaking cool, huh? Not bad, Frank. Not bad at all.
