Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre is one of our very favorite places to catch live performance. There is an audition coming up for a very special show that could be your chance to join this elite troupe. The award-winning avant-garde ZJU Theatre Group is casting for “BRAVE THE DARK”. This whimsical and suspenseful new immersive-production will attempt to challenge the audience, taking them on a journey through a mysterious dark labyrinth of mysterious characters and the strange terrors that await them. A fun and exciting new theatrical format utilizing creative collaboration and adventurous ensemble work. Directed by Zombie Joe.
AUDITIONS will be held SUN JUNE 19 and MON JUNE 20 at ZJU Theatre Group in North Hollywood.
REHEARSALS begin SAT JUNE 25; PERFORMANCES run Fridays & Saturdays @ 11pm, JULY 8 – 23.
Casting for:
SOOTHSAYER [18-49, Female or Male, All ethnicities], an oracle that prompts the past, present and future; wise and kind, yet playful and somewhat mischievous.
CLOWN OF MYSTERY [18-49, Female or Male, All ethnicities], both comedic and tragic in style and prowess, a teacher-of-sorts that brings out the best in others.
SPIRIT GUIDE [18-49, Female or Male, All ethnicities], kind, nurturing and prompting – yet demanding and commanding in mind, body and spirit.
(3) BRAVE THE DARK PERFORMERS [18-49, Female or Male, All ethnicities], to a variety of human, monster and ghost roles within a tightly-knit theatrical ensemble.
(2) DANCERS [18-49, Female or Male, All ethnicities] to perform original movement and dance sequences for this production, some dance experience required.
