Far away from the glitz and glamour of the movie studio, beyond the magical boundaries of Hogsmeade, and far, far away from any vestige of Halloween Horror Nights, a little patch of holiday happiness popped up in the most unlikely of places.  Universal Studios Hollywood reached out to the surrounding community again this year with their annual Christmas in Spring celebration as a way to bring a bit of fun to those in the surrounding communities who are hard-pressed for a little cheer.

Celebrating its 27th year, the “Christmas in Spring” community outreach event, took place this past Saturday when hundreds of Universal Studios Hollywood employee volunteers and their family members came out to the M.E.N.D Center in Pacoima to bring goodwill to 1,000 guests, including families, in need. The celebration has touched the lives of over 16,000 family members living in poverty in the San Fernando Valley, providing them with holiday cheer during a time of year when their needs are often overlooked.
