Our beloved Hallo-pop group LVCRFT is back just in time to remind us about Valentine’s Day. The musical monsters have dropped a new EP called Deadly Valentine and it’s pretty sweet. In what marks a departure, Deadly Valentine is a slow, cinematic crooner that is drenched in romantic melancholy. Gone are the up-tempo rhythms and synth tracks. Here we have Scary Ana Grande on vocals with DejaVudu and Count Trackula en tow to tell a tale of love gone horribly wrong.

To hear the band tell it…

Dearest Deadly Valentine:

You didn’t think we’d leave you alone and heartbroken on a holiday filled with love, lust and blood did you? LVCRFT’s own Scary Ana Grande, DejaVudu and Count Trackula delicately tell us the story of obsessive lethal love while sweetly serenading us with haunting vocals and maleficent melodies hot enough to warm any dead body.  “Deadly Valentine” is so moving it’s sure to leave you with a knife straight through the heart and a bloody tear rolling down your face.
