As we all gather ’round the Christmas Tree, filled with holiday cheer there are some of us that are feeling a little off. I’m talking about those of us that are still looking for that little spike of darkness amidst the festivities. Christmas is great, but a horror fan looks for scares throughout the year.
For you I offer a Christmas classic with a distinctively eerie tone. Musician, Kurt Hugo Schneider recently recorded a cover of Mariah Carey’s classic holiday tune “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The twist is that Schneider sang it in a minor key. The effect is at once chilling and ominous. What was once a bouncy, Xmas pop tune is magically changed into a stalker’s anthem.
