Universal dropped the first trailer for Jordan Peele’s US this morning and we are nuts about it. The follow up to Peele’s Oscar®-Winning GET OUT, US is a supernatural thriller focusing on identity and belonging. After the smash success of his first film the anticipation is high as hell for this one and from the looks of the trailer, he may have struck gold again.

Synopsis: A mother and father take their kids to their beach house, expecting to enjoy time with friends, but their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some visitors arrive uninvited.

Us - Official Trailer [HD]
WOW. Peele again demonstrates his ability to disarm, as the trailer begins with a likable family spending time together in the car, bonding over a song. Next, we see them hanging with friends when one of the children comes in contact with a rather bedraggled stranger. Things get ominous and the trailer soon starts to evolve into a home invasion flick ala The Strangers. Of course, Peele is far too original for that simple conceit and we learn of a much darker, far more surreal story of doppelgangers and murder. We simply cannot wait to see this film.

US will be arriving March 15th in theaters.
