We love film, in case you didn’t pick that up. With the current physical distancing situation, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) has us covered this week! They are presenting a special Home Edition of their wonderful classic Film Festival. The TCM Classic Film Festival: Special Home Edition, promises to be a celebration of TCM Classic Film Festival movies and moments from the past decade that fans can enjoy from the comfort of their homes.
This special remote edition of the Festival will feature 24 hours a day of Festival films, TCM Hosts, and special guests beginning Thursday, April 16th at 8pm EST, through Sunday, April 19th on the TCM channel.
As you can see there are a number of fine horror selections in the mix. The Seventh Seal, Deliverance, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon, along with Hitchcock pics like North By Northwest and The Lady Vanishes. Of course, it wouldn’t hurt you to sit sown and watch Auntie Mame.
