I love me a good horror anthology film.

They have been scarce lately, with Trick R Treat amazing us a few years ago, and the V/H/S series showing us it’s still a viable type of film.

But this Halloween, things will change a little bit. This year, Tales of Halloween is looking to bring the anthology scares back into theaters.

The film will feature ten separate segments, all revolving around one town on Halloween. The segments’ directors read like a whose who of awesome filmmakers, such as Neil Marshall, Darren Lynn Bousman, Lucky McKee, Adam Gierasch & Jace Anderson.

On top of that, the cast is pretty stellar, with Barry Bostwick, Lin Shaye, Adrienne Barbeau, Pat Healy, Greg Grunberg, and cameos by directors John Landis, Joe Dante, Stuart Gordon, Mick Garris, and Adam Green.

What’s not to like?!

We only get a few brief glimpses of the horrors that await, but the creatures look great and the production value good on top of that.

Tales of Halloween hits theaters on October 16th.
