Los Angeles based production company NiteLite Pictures has made it their mission to illuminate the world during this dark time with uniquely uplifting content. NitLite has unveiled their new project, the Coronavirus Positivity Initiative. This initiative emphasizes a worldwide effort to create programming centered around togetherness and community while celebrating the human spirit during this difficult time of global lockdown.

Under the Coronavirus Positivity Initiative, NiteLite is launching several programs that feature heroes on the front lines fighting the virus. Programs will also feature inspiring individuals from all over the globe and comedy shows that focus on a lighter look at life during the pandemic. The most unique feature of this new initiative is that it will feature real people from around the globe to create a sense of relatability, togetherness, and community.

When asked about the new initiative, NiteLite producer Ari Wilhelm commented, “This is truly a unique time in the world’s history. While everyone is doing their part to help keep family and communities safe, there is a need for entertainment content like never before, and specifically relevant, uplifting content that is understanding and respectful of the situation we are all living.”

NiteLite is working closely on this new initiative with Meredith Coral of Lost Art Television to bring this content to life. The content is “self-quarantine based” in order to connect with audiences. Creative teams are currently working from home to develop the new programming quickly and remotely in accordance with the shelter in place orders.

The initiative is still in its early stages and we will continue to update you as details are released. We could all use a little lightheartedness during this unprecedented time in history. We can make the best of a bad situation by remembering we are in this together as a global community. There is power in positivity and laughter is the best medicine, and you’ll find both within the Coronavirus Positivity Initiative.
