We just got hold of a brand new clip from the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 and it shows some promise. The original, directed by Sir Ridley Scott is, without question, one of the best science fiction films ever made. Exploring a dystopian future with themes of immortality the first film was far ahead of its time. To even go back to this property means that Warner Bros. and Scott, who helms the film as Executive Producer, felt they had a new and worthwhile story to tell.

Denis Villeneuve, who received his first Oscar Nomination for the film Arrival, is directing a Screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green from a Story by Hampton Fancher based on characters from the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.
