The Mind’s Eye, written and directed by Joe Begos (Almost Human), is coming to theatres and VOD on August 5, 2016, and it looks to be a crazy wild ride.

Zack Connors (Graham Skipper, Almost Human and Re-Animator The Musical) and Rachel Meadows (Lauren Ashley Carter, Jug Face) were born with incredible psychokinetic capabilities. When word of their supernatural talents gets out, they find themselves the prisoners of Michael Slovak, a deranged doctor intent on harvesting their powers. After a daring escape, they are free from his sinister institution, but the corrupt doctor will stop at nothing to track them down so that he may continue to siphon their gifts for his own use.

The Mind’s Eye has been compared very favorably to Brian De Palma’s The Fury and David Cronenburg’s Scanners, and we here at HorrorBuzz are really excited by the idea of a movie that hints at being an unofficial sequel to either. Or both.
