Making its successful premiere at the European FrightFest, Epic Pictures is proud to present a new trailer and poster for THE GOLEM. The film will continue its festival run including a slot at Sitges International Film Festival before debuting in the States in February 2019.

THE GOLEM follows a woman in a devout Jewish community that is besieged by foreign invaders who believe that the Jews have cursed them with a plague. In order to protect her village, the woman conjures a creature in the guise of her deceased child which turns out to be more dangerous than she ever imagined.

THE GOLEM was directed by Doron and Yoav Paz (Jeruzalem), written by Ariel Cohen, produced by Shalom Eisenbach, executive produced by Patrick Ewald (Redcon-1) and Shaked Berenson (Turbo Kid). The film stars Ishai Golen (Prisoners of War) and Hani Furstenberg (The Loneliest Planet).

February 2019 seems so far away, maybe we should summon a Golem to convince the production team to release the film sooner…just an idea.
