Boston Underground Film Festival has presented the last of its film lineup! During March 22 through March 26 at the Brattle Theatre and Harvard Film Archive BUFF will delight everyone with a line-up of intriguing films from all around the world as well as 80 shorts, music and music videos!

BUFF will host the East Coast Premiere of hotly-anticipated doc A Life in Waves, a story of one of the most influential composers, Suzanne Ciani. Brett Whitcomb and Bradford Thompson will be attending along with Ciani for a Q&A at the Harvard Film Archive. Another highly anticipated film is Dean Fleischer-Camp’s Fraud, a hybrid-doc that explores “truth” in a post-truth era. 

First-time Irish director Liam Gavin brings demons in the black magic thriller A Dark SongAna Asensio, a first-time director, writer, and star, follows an undocumented immigrant’s day from hell in Most Beautiful Island, straight from its World Premiere at SXSW. Valentin Hitz’s unnerving Hidden Reserves looks at the future-that-could-be (death insurance) with his Austrian dystopian sci-fi masterpiece. For the first time, BUFF will present a Secret Screeing, unfortunately, BUFF will not release anything surrounding this film until its viewing, but it is one of the most highly anticipated genre titles of the year.
