The brand new trailer for the James Wan directed, THE CONJURING 2, premiered at WonderCon in Los Angeles California and it promises to pack just as much of a wallop as the original.

Picking up where the original left off, THE CONJURING 2 tells the story of another case examined by real-life demonologists Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). This time their case involves a haunting in England. A strange and powerful presance begins to affect the lives of a single mother and her kids.

This trailer features the sleek production design and brilliant mood that James Wan is expert at creating.  Tons of new footage here give us a sense of the main case being studied as well as the B Plot that involves  possible forces from the other side attempting to kill the Warrens.  Spoilers abound it seems in this trailer so, be warned.

Wan and his team created a beautiful and classy thrill ride with the original The Conjuring.  Coming out of nowhere the movie was a huge critical and commercial success made for 20 million and grossing over 318 million worldwide.  The storyline left things wide open for a sequel and we couldn’t be more excited to see it.

THE CONJURING 2 arrives in theaters on June 10th.
