Paul and Jennifer Hemdale have just moved into their dream house. But their happy marriage is about to be put to the test as they slowly discover the secret behind the black room in the cellar. Something else is already living in their new home and it is growing stronger every day.

The Black Room pulls out classic devices for horror goodness, the occult, the 70’s, and Lin Shaye. With the trialer just dropping today there isn’t much else to go on at the moment but it certainly seems worth a watch if for nothing else than Shaye’s masterful presence in a film. Always an interesting watch.
