Arrow Video has announced its May 2023 lineup of subscription-based ARROW platform. The platform is available in the UK, Ireland, the US, and Canada. The lineup includes six seasons: Molto Argento, Masters of Horror, Ghostly Goings-On, The Gore The Merrier, Adam Cesare Selects, and Psychotronic.

May 1st begins with Molto Argento, featuring the legendary Italian master of horror Dario Argento’s greatest films. The season includes his famous standalone films like Tenebrae, Deep Red, and Phenomena, as well as team-ups with Lamberto Bava and George A. Romero.

On May 5th, subscribers can enjoy the far-out films in the Psychotronic season, featuring the wild films listed in Michael Weldon’s The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film. The collection of outrageous films ranges from sincere social commentary to degrading trash, united by their massive fun and weirdness.

May 5th also includes Mantrap: Straw Dogs: The Final Cut and Motion and Emotion: The Films of Wim Wenders, two must-watch documentaries for film lovers. Mantrap: Straw Dogs: The Final Cut, presented by Mark Kermode, examines Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs, while Motion and Emotion: The Films of Wim Wenders is a feature-length documentary about the super-cool German filmmaker Wim Wenders.

The May 5th lineup ends with two classics: Big Time Gambling Boss and A Woman Kills. Big Time Gambling Boss is one of the all-time classics of the yakuza genre, while A Woman Kills is an atmospheric tale of gangland intrigue.
