After a brutal opening episode on AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 7, “Talking Dead’s” Chris Hardwick braved Universal Studios Hollywood’s new “The Walking Dead” attraction.  and survived… Kind of. In a video tour of the new attraction, Chris Hardwick raved, “That was amazing; if you have a chance, you should absolutely come through. It doesn’t matter how emotionally prepared you are, [the walkers] are going to jump out and scare the {expletive} out of you every single time.”

“The Walking Dead” , which opened on July 4th, 2016, is Universal Studios Hollywood’s all-new daytime permanent attraction and signature maze at this year’s “Halloween Horror Nights” event. By elevating the scares with more walkers and effects than ever for the nighttime event, “The Walking Dead” attraction creates a no-holds-barred experience that significantly intensifies, broadens, and raises the bar from any other iteration previously developed within any theme park in the world. Coupled with authentic walker make-up effects, sophisticated animatronic walkers, substantially more detailed set design and costuming, and highly recognizable props replicated from the series, the attraction delivers an uncompromised realistic environment that brings guests even further into the most-watched show in cable television history.

“Halloween Horror Nights” will continue on the following dates: October 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and November 4 and 5, 2016. Discounted tickets to “Halloween Horror Nights” are available on Thursday and Sunday nights, and advance ticket purchase is recommended as the event does sell out.
