It’s halfway to Halloween you guys! You know what that means. The Fear Factory, Utah’s most popular and only haunted, haunted house announced today they’ll be livin’ on a prayer at a special Halfway to Halloween weekend on May 17-18, 2019 at its annual celebration marking the halfway point to the 2019 Halloween season.

So if you are afraid of the dark we have some great news for you! The Halfway to Halloween celebration will be a blackout event. What does that mean? Well, during a blackout event, the house lights are turned off and attendees go through in groups with one single finger light to lead the way. Tickets to the Fear Factory’s Halfway to Halloween are available immediately by clicking on the Fear Factory’s website.

“We started the Halfway to Halloween celebration three years ago as part of a Friday the 13th weekend and fans took to it and have demanded that we do it every year since,” said Rob Dunfield, Fear Factory Founder and COO. “We look forward to this weekend every year and to getting a sneak peek to the new Halloween season.”

One of the nation’s most celebrated and feared haunted attractions, Fear Factory has received a number of awards for being one of the scariest haunted houses in America from  The Travel Channel and BuzzFeed. In addition to the media, industry associations such as TransWorld Trade Shows and Netherworld Haunted House have recognized the Fear Factory for its innovation and creativity in scaring the living daylights out of visitors.

If you are ever in the Salt Lake City area, pretty much any time of the year, The Fear Factory also hosts a number of year-round paranormal investigations. The site of the Fear Factory has a long history of paranormal activity and unexplained sightings dating back to 1894. In 2016, the Fear Factory partnered with Grimm Host Tours to provide fans with private and group ghost tours.

The Fear Factory is located at 666 West and 800 South in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Limited parking is available along 700 West. Fans can also park at the Gateway and ride the free Zombie Bus to the Fear Factory. The Zombie Bus will run both Friday and Saturday nights from 8:30 pm – midnight.
