Get out those calendar books now and start planning… Universal Orlando Resort has revealed their dates for Halloween Horror Nights 2020! This will mark 30 years of fears for the outstanding Halloween event, and the festivities will run for 39 select nights Thursday-Sunday from September 10- October 31, 2020. The Universal creative team has been hard at work with no sleep so you won’t sleep after passing through the gates into the horrors that they are so carefully creating for 2020.

Guests visiting Universal Orlando’s world-class vacation destination select nights in September and October will be able to experience all of the horrors that await – including 10 brand-new haunted houses, five bone-chilling scare zones, live entertainment and more.

Horror Nights came from humble beginnings as a three-day event in Orlando in 1991 and has become a premier not-to-miss Halloween event.  Each crisp fall afternoon, as the sun sets on days filled with thrills and laughter, the night sets in and awakens the darkness that lies within, a frightening chill fills the air, and the most terrifying names in horror and pop culture take over Universal Studios Florida – forcing guests to come face-to-face with what scares them most. Elaborately-themed haunted houses based on everything from cinematic greats and cult favorites to original abominations created by the twisted minds behind the event come to life – each filled with so much detail, you could mistake being on a movie set.  Hordes of menacing scare actors prey upon guests in these malevolent mazes and in various scare zones throughout the streets of the park.  Universal understand that even the bravest need reprieve now and then, so when guests need a break from the screams, they can enjoy live shows and Universal Studios’ most exhilarating rides and attractions.

Halloween Horror Nights has grown into a global phenomenon and can also be experienced at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Singapore each fall. Details and dates for those events will be revealed in the months ahead.
