Get ready to face your deepest fears as Castle Park in Riverside undergoes a spine-tingling transformation into the annual haunt experience known as Castle Dark. This hauntingly spectacular event will commence on Friday, September 22, marking its 15th year of delivering bone-chilling thrills and spine-tingling scares to brave souls from near and far.

Castle Dark’s New Haunt Experiences

In honor of this milestone, Castle Dark is pulling out all the stops with the introduction of six all-new haunt experiences that promise to terrify and delight. One of the most spine-tingling features this year is the ghostly “Shipwreck Cove,” which boasts an all-female cast—a first in the history of Castle Dark.

But that’s just the beginning of the horrors that await thrill-seekers. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 22 through October 29, guests will have the opportunity to test their courage and venture into a world of fright that goes far beyond your typical scare maze. Daredevils can set sail into the eerie Shipwreck Cove, glide through Slider Alley, embark on a terrifying journey down the Haunted Highway, and experience more spine-chilling surprises during the 18 days of frights at Castle Dark.

Daytime Delights at Castle Park

For those who prefer treats over tricks, Castle Park offers a family-friendly, daytime celebration known as “Dia de Los Muertos.” This lively event, taking place every Saturday and Sunday from September 29 through October 29, from 12 PM to 5:30 PM, invites families to join in on the fun while celebrating Mexican and Latin American fall traditions.

Expect the park to be adorned with beautiful decorations and themed traditional entertainment that will transport you to another world. The event also offers activities for kids, including pumpkin painting and trick-or-treating, making it a perfect outing for families looking to embrace the spirit of the season.

Don’t miss out on the terror and fun that Castle Dark and Dia de Los Muertos at Castle Park have in store for you this Halloween season. Mark your calendars, gather your courage, and prepare for a hauntingly good time!
