Merge Games and Maple Powered Games are excited to announce that upcoming farming RPG Monster Harvest is officially set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on July 8th! The physical editions on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are expected July 20th in the United States, and the 23rd of July in Europe.

Originally this pixelated farming simulator was planned for release this month. However, the launch has been delayed in order to allow the creators to add further content into the game upon release.

Below, we’ve included a message from Merge Games and Maple Powered Games:

“So, whilst we’re very sorry to delay your trip to Planimal Point, we’re very excited to bring you a game with some fantastic additions on release!

There’s a bunch of new things to look forward to including;

  • Dungeon Minimap
  • Variant dungeon rooms with some rare and unique encounters
  • Unlockable Planimal attacks
  • More crop variations
  • New additions to the town and an overhaul of NPC’s and relationships
  • Farm size expanded
  • More structured goals and rewards for completing certain milestones in-game
  • New female character model

We’re very excited to deliver an even bigger game and welcome you to join us on July 8th!”

Monster Harvest places players in their own farm in Planimal Point, with plenty of opportunity to customize their house, craft their own furniture, make delicious jams, and so much more. The big twist? Farmers can even mutate their own crops by using strange Slimes, creating up to 72 different mutations. These mutated crops can become key companions in the player’s adventure across Planimal Point, fighting by the farmer’s side as they explore various dungeons.

Some key features of Monster Harvest include:

  • Farm with mutants! Use magical slimes to mutate the crops you grow on your farm.
  • Collectible Planimal companions! Some slimes mutate your crops into Planimals!
  • Take your loyal companions into battle as you look to save Planimal Point from the Evil SlimeCo.
  • Three unique seasons: Dry, Wet, and Dark – Strange weather and seasons shift what you can grow.
  • Venture into the town of Planimal Point – Discover the people and creatures that live there, build relationships to gain discounts in stores.

Craft dozens of items for your farm and your house.
