As the season comes to a close, The Magicians still has some magic up their sleeves! There could be a dragon in the future of this series and shit is about to get real. Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, John McNamara, and Sera Gamble attended the WonderCon Panel and answered questions about the last episodes of the series. Fans got the opportunity to ask questions themselves.

The panel started with a sizzle reel of highlights of the series so far and what is to come. We got a glimpse of what is in store for Quintin and Julie as they continue their journey of magic. Jason Ralph and Stella Maeve talked about the future of Quintin and Julia’s relationship. Ralph explained that Julia and Quintin are working on their broken friendship and hopefully they can become great friends once again. Finger crossed.

As the series progresses so do topics of grief and loss. Spoiler alert ahead. Ralph touched upon the loss of Alice and what that did for Quintin. This series has been one of growth as Quintin and Julia and the rest of the characters try to grow into adulthood because everyone knows adulting with magic is very hard. I know I have some trouble myself. Ralph recalls the series being a “Big Shakespearean Monologue” because of the grief that was explored throughout the series. Would you agree with this?

The upcoming las episodes will be epic and filled with magic. New problems will arise and so will musical episodes, maybe next season, but there will be a lot of magical creatures emerging, did I mention a dragon might appear? It was great to hear how the actors would like the characters to proceed as the season comes to a close. There is no shortage of awesomeness coming in the last few episodes. Can’t Wait!
