There’s a new bloodsucker in town.

New pictures of Lady Gaga from American Horror Story: Hotel show her in full-on vampire mode as The Countess, a role she can certainly sink her teeth into (sorry). She and her boy-fiend Donovan (played by Matt Bomer) spend their nights feasting on the blood of unsuspecting bed partners they’ve enticed back to their room. I hope they tip their maid very well.

Originally released exclusively on EW.com, the lovely set of pictures show many well-loved actors from previous seasons of AHS returning for this iteration. Kathy Bates plays Donovan’s mother, Iris; Angela Bassett is Ramona Royale, an actress and a previous lover of The Countess; Evan Peters portrays hotel builder James March, who is not as charming or sane (or dead) as he appears to be.

Other returning hotel staff include Sarah Paulson, Denis O’Hare, and Finn Wittrock.  The fantastic cast is rounded out by AHS newcomers Naomi Campbell and Cheyenne Jackson, among others.

One of the things fans really loved about this series is how the different seasons of AHS interconnect and link together, with some characters (Pepper and Sister Mary Eunice, for example) appearing in other stories. Well, you can now add real estate agent Marcy (Christine Estabrook) to that list, since, in addition to being the agent for the Murder House, she is also the agent for the Cortez Hotel.

From the pictures released so far, it looks like AHS is going for a very Art Deco look this time around: the sets, the costumes, even the lighting evoke a 1920’s decadence that hasn’t been seen on television in a long time, if ever.  I, for one, can’t wait to see this cavalcade of creeps paint the town red with their shenanigans.
