Holy hell. In an effort to inspire nightmares that nestle into the deepest recesses of our psyche, Ryan Murphy released the opening credit sequence for the upcoming season of American Horror Story: Cult. AHS alumns Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are returning this season with Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Colton Haynes, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Alison Pill, Lena Dunham, Frances Conroy, Mare Winningham, and Emma Roberts round out the confirmed cast so far.

AHS Cult has also reached out to potential followers via Twitter asking them to “Strengthen Your Resolve”. Some media outlets have posted leaked and slightly spoilery plot details, but really, nothing too heavy has been released yet. We won’t have long to wait now though as the first episode of AHS Cult airs September 5th on FX.
