Netflix has cooked up a devilish delight for its viewers to enjoy. The Devil All the Time is a dark and twisted tale that takes place in a town where just about everybody has something to hide. But secrets don’t stay secrets for long… Based on the book “The Devil All the Time” written by Donaly Ray Pollock, the film boasts a stacked cast and a killer trailer has been released ahead of its September debut.

The Devil all the Time

Synopsis: In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted.

The Devil All The Time starring Tom Holland & Robert Pattinson | Official Trailer | Netflix
This film looks phenomental. Dark and gritty texture, mixed with a barage of seedy and untrustworthy characters makes for one sensational thrill ride. It is immediately clear that everyone appears to have it out for Arvin (Holland) but is out for themselves. Devil take the hindmost, as the saying goes. The small snippets we are given of the actors performances showcase that this film is packed to the brim with the greatest talent Hollywood has to offer. Pay special attention to Robert Pattinson’s character, I think we are going to love-hate him and I cannot wait to get my hands on this dark masterpiece.

Directed by Antonio Campos, The Devil All the Time stars Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Harry Melling, Eliza Scanlen, Pokey LaFarge with Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson. The film comes to Netflix on September 16th. More info about The Devil All the Time and Netflix’s other upcoming releases can be found on their website.
