L/D Production Company has unveiled the new trailer for Italian gothic horror CALEB, directed by Roberto D’Antona. The film also stars Annamaria Lorusso, Roberto D’Antona, Francesco Emulo, Alex D’Antona, Natalia Moro, Nicole Blatto, Susanna Tregnaghi, Erica Verzotti, Mirko D’Antona, Fabrizio Narciso, Sheena Hao, Mirko Giacchetti, Carola Tallarico.

Synopsis: Rebecca is searching for her sister, a young journalist who went missing while investigating a series of unfortunate events. The trail leads her to Timere, a remote place far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where amidst the tight lipped silence of the town’s inhabitants there’s an ever growing fear of dark forces at work and no-one dares to leave their home at night. Here Rebecca meets an extravagant writer, the church warden of the town and above all Caleb, a charming, rich and elegant man whose dark gaze hides a chilling secret.

Caleb - Teaser Trailer Ufficiale | 4K

With a Shining-like opening, this definitely looks aesthetically pleasing and is hopefully as thrilling as the trailer was edited to be. That overwhelming vampire-movie-fad is over, but I’ve almost kind of missed it, so it’ll be nice to hopefully see a refreshing take on the genre. I don’t speak a lick of Italian, and yet I was still able to understand what was happening in the trailer. The stakes are high. (get it?)

Caleb is currently in post-production and will be released later in 2020.

About the Author

From humble beginnings as a bisexual art kid who drank more coffee than a 40-year-old author, Remy now holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and is a proud member of the HorrorBuzz team (and still a bisexual art kid who drinks too much coffee). They were first introduced to the world of horror and camp when their grandma showed them The Rocky Horror Picture Show at age 5, and never looked back. When they're not writing cartoons or working on movies, one can spot them in various clubs around Los Angeles performing very, very self-deprecating standup comedy. Howdy ho!
