Wild Eye Releasing has unveiled the poster, trailer, and stills for CLOWNADO, a twisted new horror film from director Todd Sheets and starring featuring genre icons Linnea Quigley and Eileen Deitz.

Cursed demonic circus clowns set out on a vengeful massacre using tornadoes. A stripper, Elvis impersonator, truck driver, teen runaway, and a dude get caught in the supernatural battle between femme fatal and the boss clown from hell.

Hopefully this film is as self-aware as it should be with a name and premise like Clownado and doesn’t take itself too seriously, because the poor acting and special effects could only be excused if the film was meant to look that way. However, the trailer is edited in the style of actual horror films, so we’ll either see a new campy masterpiece along with the upcoming release of Tommy Wiseau’s Big Shark, or we’ll be getting a Killer Klowns ripoff and big middle-finger pie to the face.

Clownado will be available on VOD September 3rd and DVD September 17th, 2019.
